Common Snipe
Occurred the most disproportionately in hexagons with more than 1% wetlands and wet shrubland or in areas of less wetlands and wet shrubland if mixed conifer-deciduous forest is absent and topography is varied. The logistic regression analysis showed positive or negative association with ponderosa pine forest, wetlands and wet shrubland, sagebrush steppe, elevation (hex. avg.), and-to a lesser degree-April minimum temperature (hex. max.), April precipitation (hex. med.), topographic variation, and the extent of public land.
